Reddit (https://www.reddit.com) has been around for over 10 years now for the longest time you couldn't edit the tile. Why is/was that?

| A Reddit post title can't be edited after it's been posted may be because the title is part of the post's URL, which Reddit uses for indexing and linking. You can delete the post and re post it with your fixes but then your post might get buried or you may not be able to or you might violate the rules for that sub-reddit. But it's likely Search Engine Optimization is also part of the reasons and Reddit want's the best "slug" to increase the possibility that the post is indexed by search engines especially google. | ||||
